My Story
GrowthBoost was founded by Nick Turnbull in 2023 to help businesses figure out where AI actually fits and build systems that stick.
Nick's career has been built on fixing go-to-market operations, from seed-stage startups where every lead mattered to publicly traded companies managing complex, multi-product revenue engines. He's worked across sales, marketing, RevOps, systems architecture, and team leadership, giving him a clear picture of how revenue teams actually work and where they break down.

GrowthBoost exists to bridge that gap: diagnose the real issues, then build practical solutions that create measurable impact. The practice now spans consulting, implementation, and training for tech companies, service businesses, and real estate operators who want better output from the team they already have.
A few things I've learned
Diagnosis before prescription.
You can't fix what you don't understand. Most AI projects fail because nobody took the time to understand the real problem first.
People before technology.
The best systems are useless if nobody owns them. We always start with who's responsible for what.

The best automation is the kind nobody notices because it just works. I'm not here to build impressive demos. I'm here to build things that create real value.

Speed matters. We ship fast, learn fast, and iterate. Waiting for perfect is how you fall behind.

Nick is originally from St. Louis and graduated from the University of Missouri. He has called Chicagoland area home since 2013. Nick, his wife Mary, their three young kids and Bernese Mountain dog, Mowgli are based out of Wheaton, IL.
Beyond work, he enjoys being outdoors, including golf, skiing, and traveling with his family. His long-term goal is to own a ranch in Whitefish, Montana and go off the grid, which is ironic for someone who works in tech. But that's the plan.
